          Now a days most of the people in the world are using smart phones.In smart phones the most common used operating system is Android.Atmost 85% of people in the world are using Android smart phones.what is Android? Let's see.

                           A group of four members have developed the Android OS  in the year of 2004.In the same year Samsung got an opportunity to buy this but they thought it is totally waste and refused to buy it.In 2005 Google had shown interest in Android and offered 50million dollars for this.After that Google had included their features in this and introduced an Android smart phone in the year of 2007.At first this Android was developed for a digital camera not for smart phone.Android means a male robot.Now some of the readers have thought about the name for female robot.Its name is Genoid.One of the developer of Android likes robot.so it is named as Android.The above logo of Android is designed in 2007.The funny thing is the designer says that this logo is inspired from the men's restroom logo.The main thing is this Android is a open source operating system.So many of the devices are using Android as it can be optimised of their use.The base of this Android is Linux operating system. Google maps are showing the traffic by Android only. Yes it is showed by how fast the Android devices are traveling.
